READING GROUPS
Each reading group is expected to read at least one chapter a day. You will be given time in class to read independently and in reading groups . On occasion, you will be assigned pages for homework. Please make sure that you read all of the assigned pages before reading group. Be ready to define tricky/interesting words and answer comprehension questions. We will have an informal quiz once a week. If you forget to take your book home, click on the YouTube links below for a Read Aloud version of the chapter.
PADLET- Read each question and prompt CAREFULLY! Each and every and every padlet response must contain at least three complete sentences (with pictures if you like). Make sure that you answer all parts of the question (i.e., the comprehension question and the personal response question).
If you are submitting a video response, you must speak clearly and use appropriate grammar and complete sentences.
Draw from the story and your own personal experiences. Use text evidence.
You may not be able to see your work until it is approved by Mrs. Proctor :-)
